Julian Reese has been traded and is currently team-less following a complex five-team NBA transaction. The 23-year-old forward, who is the brother of WNBA player Angel Reese, was initially moved from the Washington Wizards to the Denver Nuggets as part of the multi-team deal.

However, Reese is not expected to settle in Denver. According to reporting, the Nuggets plan to waive him from his two-way contract. The broader trade featured several notable player movements, including Cam Whitmore being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Peyton Watson also heading to Cleveland, and Max Strus moving to the Los Angeles Clippers. Additionally, Denver acquired an unprotected 2031 Cavaliers first-round draft pick and a 2032 Kings second-round draft pick.
