Kroy "KJ" Jr., the 15-year-old son of Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak and estranged husband Kroy Biermann, was arrested on Monday, August 17, in Alpharetta, Georgia. According to court records obtained by media outlets, he faces charges of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. A judge did not set bond, and he is currently being held at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September, with reports noting either September 1 or September 8.

Fulton County Georgia juvenile court papers state that a female classmate accused KJ of assaulting her on April 23 in a gym changing area at the Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta. The alleged victim claimed to officials that while inside a co-ed sauna, KJ forced himself on her after she said no. The allegations state that he attempted multiple times to pull down her pants for sexual intercourse, and also forced oral sex and digitally penetrated her vagina.

KJ is one of the children shared by Zolciak and Biermann, whose marriage began in 2011 and who filed for divorce in 2023 amid ongoing and messy proceedings. Biermann previously requested sole custody of their minor children during the divorce battle, accusing Zolciak of neglect and claiming she was unfit and unstable to parent.
